Sports Betting Rules

Rooli applies these sports betting rules to all wagers placed on eligible events. The rules govern prematch and live bets and bind all customers to the outlined settlement, cancellation and integrity provisions.

1. General Rules and Market Settlement

  • 1.1 Settlement of outcomes. The outcome of a market is settled once determined. If an outright market is decided by an official announcement, Rooli may void bets placed after the publication of the outcome. If a match is not completed and is decided by the referee or an official announcement, Rooli will settle bets according to the official result; if the announcement occurs more than 48 hours after the end of the match and undecided bets have already been treated as undecided, settlement will stand. Player specials markets are excluded from this rule. If the market is not determined earlier in the game, Rooli settles the result after the normal duration of the match unless stated otherwise in the market description.
  • 1.2 Acceptance and refunds. Rooli reserves the right to not accept all or part of a bet without giving a reason. If a bet is not accepted, the customer’s stake is refunded in full.
  • 1.3 Pre- and post-event cancellations. Before an event starts, Rooli may void or cancel part or all of a bet after acceptance without providing a reason. After the event has started, Rooli may void or cancel bets, even after acceptance or settlement, for valid reasons such as a palpable error in the event wording or odds, an incorrect starting time, attempts to bypass limits, access to confidential information affecting outcome, combined related bets, involvement of participants, a technical error affecting odds or events, or other valid reasons communicated to the customer upon request.
  • 1.4 Venue changes. Rooli reserves the right to cancel all bets on an event if the venue changes.
  • 1.5 Radical changes to event conditions. Rooli reserves the right to cancel all bets if there are radical changes in playing time, distance in a race, number of periods, or other fundamental circumstances of the event.
  • 1.6 Integrity and fraud. If Rooli suspects fraud or manipulation, it may keep specific betting slips unsettled, inform relevant regulatory bodies, await a determination, and settle or void the bet according to the authorities’ verdict.
  • 1.7 Bet placement interruption. If the betting system is interrupted during bet placement, Rooli will perform standard checks and may accept or reject the bet. The customer should login and verify bet acceptance in the betting history once the system resumes.
  • 1.8 VAR and on-pitch decisions. A Video Assistant Referee decision that conflicts with the on-pitch decision and alters the state of play at the time of bet placement will render all bets placed between the original incident and the final decision void, unless the odds for the bet were not affected by the VAR decision or were already accounted for. Settlement of unrelated bets remains valid. VAR is treated as having occurred at the time of the original incident for settlement purposes. Rooli reserves the right to reverse settlements if the final decision changes accuracy and is communicated before the match conclusion or the applicable settlement timeframe.
  • 1.9 Odds display and rounding. For user experience, odds shown on screen are truncated to two decimal places. Total odds are calculated using a sixth decimal digit rounding, and total winnings are truncated to two decimal places. Any apparent discrepancy reflects these rounding rules.
  • 1.10 Settlement window. The maximum period between settlement of a betslip and any potential re-settlement is 30 days.
  • 1.11 End-of-match rules and abandonment. If the match is concluded by the referee at minute 79:00 or later, all markets are settled on the full-time result. If the match ends at 78:59 or earlier, undecided markets are void. In matches abandoned or stopped for reasons such as crowd disruptions or force majeure, all undecided markets are voided.
  • 1.12 Supported match formats. Prematch and live bets may use formats such as 2x25, 2x30, 2x35, 2x40, 2x45 or 3x30. For matches with a duration outside 50 to 90 minutes, all markets are voided. For 3x30, halftime duration is calculated as total match duration divided by two. Rooli does not assume responsibility for unexpected format changes; risk is borne by the customer as part of registration acceptance.
  • 1.13 Play-or-Pay for outrights. Outright markets are subject to the Play-or-Pay rule. Bets on listed participants stand even if a participant cannot take part, and are settled as losses. This applies to all outright markets (Winner, Top X, etc.). Head-to-Head markets are excluded; if any listed participant does not take part, the H2H markets are void. If a participant is replaced by another participant from the same team, team markets remain valid while individual markets for the original participant are void.

2. Scoring Bets and Special Markets

  • 2.1 Scorers. First goalscorer, last goalscorer and anytime goalscorer bets apply to regular time. Own goals, as determined by official authority, are ignored for scoring purposes if the game contains only own goals. Bets on first goalscorer are void if a player never plays or enters after the first goal; exceptions apply for own goals which are ignored. Bets on last goalscorer are void if a player never plays. Player to score applies to any participating player, regardless of entry time. Anytime goalscorer applies to any player involved, regardless of entry time. If a match is abandoned after at least one scorer has occurred, bets on the first goalscorer apply and bets on the last goalscorer are void. The Anytime Goalscorer market for a scorer remains valid only if the player participates in the match.
  • 2.2 Additional scoring considerations. If a match is abandoned with an unresolved scorer outcome, settlements follow regular-time results with overtime ignored, unless the market specifies otherwise.

3. Integrity, Disputes and Operational Matters

  • 3.1 Integrity and regulatory cooperation. Rooli may withhold settlement on suspect bets and report to appropriate regulatory bodies. Final settlements depend on the verdicts of the relevant authorities or bodies with which Rooli cooperates.
  • 3.2 Disputes and technical issues. In the event of a technical fault, Rooli will apply standard checks and provide corrective actions as necessary, and customer notifications will be made upon reasonable request.
